Three Peaks Trail
When: June – October
Distance: Approx. 9 km
Follow the trail from the hotel up towards the top of Hafjell – 1065 masl. From there head back towards Pellestova before following the marked trail down the large parking area near Ilsætra. From here the trail is marked with Red T’s firstly up towards Slåsæterfjell – 1064 masl – and from there onwards towards Nevelfjell – 1089 masl which is the highest point on the trip.
Once at the summit take time to enjoy the panoramic views and write your name in the visitor book located by the cabin at the top of Nevelfjell.
On the return journey, follow the signs back towards Pellestova and a well deserved rest.
This trip is roughly 9 km and takes about 3 hours in total, depending on individual variations in choice of route.

Dress for the weather
Always pack some extra clothes should the weather turn nasty.
The weather in the mountains can be unpredictable and change in the blink of an eye. We therefore implore all our guest top pack accordingly and ideally follow the three layer system: a base layer (t-shirt/thermal top), a mid layer (insulated jacket/fleece) and an outer layer (wind/water resistant shell).
Using three layers allows you to regulate temperature thus keeping you warm should the weather get cold or take one off to cool you down.
If you are planning to stop for lunch it is advisable to pack an insulated pad to sit on.
