At Pellestova Hotel, great food experiences are at the heart of your stay – and Restaurant 980 is the centre of it all. The restaurant is named after our location: 980 metres above sea level.

The dining experience

Restaurant 980 is made for those who appreciate great food and drinks in calm and atmospheric surroundings. Our kitchen is playful and combines traditional flavours with modern creativity – always searching for new and exciting taste combinations.

Local ingredients

We always aim to use local ingredients. Much of the wild game we serve comes from the nearby mountain areas and is prepared at our own butchery before it is further refined and served in our restaurant.

We also have an extensive wine cellar and are passionate about finding the perfect pairings of food and wine.

Vegetarian options are always available. If you have allergies or dietary requirements, please let us know in advance so we can prepare suitable alternatives.

Staying in a cabin nearby?

We are happy to pick you up at your cabin! If you are staying in the Hafjell area between the toll station in Hundersetervegen and Pellestova Hotel, we can arrange transport to and from the restaurant. Please pre-book both table and transport by calling +47 61 27 45 00.*
