At Pellestova Hotel, culinary experiences are at the heart of what we do, and Restaurant 980 is the centre of our food offering. The restaurant takes its name from its location – 980 metres above sea level.
Restaurant 980 is the perfect choice for guests who appreciate great food and fine drinks in calm, atmospheric surroundings. Our kitchen is playful and creative, combining traditional flavours with modern expressions. We enjoy experimenting and are constantly searching for new flavour combinations to create memorable dining experiences.
We always strive to use local ingredients. Most of the wild game we serve comes from the surrounding mountain areas and is processed at our own Slakteriet – our wild game butchery – before being further prepared and cooked in our kitchen.
We have an extensive wine cellar and a strong passion for finding the perfect pairings between food and wine.
Vegetarian dishes are always available on the menu. If you have allergies or other dietary requirements, we kindly ask that you let us know in advance so we can prepare suitable alternatives for you.
Staying in a cabin and would like to dine with us?
We are happy to pick you up at your cabin. If you are staying in Hafjell, in the area between the toll station on Hundersætervegen and Pellestova Hotel, we can arrange transport to and from your cabin. Please pre-book your table and transport by calling +47 61 27 45 00.
