Is Parking Available? Do You Offer Indoor Parking?
Yes. Parking costs NOK 50 per hour or NOK 150 per day. Guests staying overnight at the hotel always park free of charge.
We also offer indoor parking for hotel guests in our parking garage. No reservation is required.
Can I Reach Pellestova by Public Transport?
Yes, it is possible to travel to Pellestova using public transport. During selected periods, you can use the Hafjell Shuttle Bus, which operates in the local area and connects Hafjell, Øyer and nearby attractions.

Do You Have EV Charging Stations?
Yes, we offer 26 EV charging stations with up to 22 kW charging capacity. Simply scan the QR code on the charging station to start charging. Payment is charged per kWh used.
How Much Is the Toll Road Fee and How Do I Pay?
The final road leading up to Pellestova is owned and operated by a private road company, and all vehicles must pass through their toll station to reach the hotel.
The toll fee is NOK 30 per vehicle, and you only pay when driving up to Pellestova.
There are two ways to pay:
- At the toll station: Use the payment terminal located near the toll gate.
- Online: Register your vehicle at autopay.io, and the fee will be charged automatically each time you pass through.
If your vehicle is already registered with OnePark, the payment will be processed automatically.
If you pass through the toll station without paying, you can visit autopay.io and pay online within 48 hours to avoid receiving an invoice.
Can I Rent Skis at Pellestova?
e do not offer ski rental at Pellestova. However, Gaiastova, located approximately 5 minutes from the hotel, offers rental equipment for both alpine skiing and cross-country skiing.
You can pre-book your equipment through Hafjell Ski Rental and collect it at Hafjell Sport at Gaiastova.
Do We Need to Reserve a Table in Advance?
We recommend reserving a table in advance, especially during busy periods. This helps ensure you can dine at a time that suits you and guarantees availability in our restaurants.
Do the Ski Lifts Reach the Hotel?
Pellestova offers direct access to the cross-country ski trails right outside the hotel. However, to reach the alpine ski area, you’ll need to drive approximately 4-5 minutes to Gaiastova.
At Gaiastova, you can purchase lift passes, rent ski equipment and access the Hafjell Alpine Resort directly from the base area.
Do You Have a Ski Waxing Room?
Yes, we have a dedicated ski room where you can prepare and store your skis during your stay. The room is equipped with Swix waxing benches and waxing irons, and we provide daily waxing tips based on current conditions. Wax and other ski maintenance products are available for purchase at reception.
What Can We Do If the Weather Is Bad?
Bad weather doesn’t mean the fun has to stop. Relax in Peisestova or Salongen, enjoy our fitness room, or borrow a board game from reception. If you’d like to explore further, Lillehammer offers shops, cafés and museums, while Jorekstad Water Park is a great option for families.
Can We Bring Our Dog?
Yes, dogs are welcome in selected rooms for an additional fee of NOK 450 per stay. Dogs may be taken through the lobby to your room, but are not allowed in public indoor areas or restaurants. We also offer a complimentary dog room for daytime use, although overnight stays are not permitted.
Do You Have Bike Storage?
Yes, we have a dedicated bike storage room for guests. You are also welcome to bring your bike into your room if it has been thoroughly cleaned beforehand.
Do You Offer Bike Rental?
Yes, we offer both mountain bikes and e-bikes for hire. Contact reception for bike rentals or local route recommendations.
