Bjerkebæk - Sigrid Undsets home

Sigrid Undsets childhood home is just a short walk from the high street in Lillehammer and is one of the cities most spectacular tourist attractions. During the summer months visitors can experience the fragrant blooming garden just as it was when the author herself lived there. Both of her works:’’Kristin Lavransdatter’’ and ‘’Olav Audunsson’’ were both written whilst the author lived at Bjerkebæk.

There is also a quaint little cafe and gift shop on site.
